Am I insane?

After 10 years of being bedridden without being able to communicate well or hold a thought long enough or be able to learn anything new and just be too exhausted to walk around or get up to take a shower and with terrible muscle pains and migraines and a loss of income, great memories, adventures, spontanious creation, guts and most of your old friends, it is very easy to think you are starting to go insane. In fact I was thinking that thought the first day of my illness.
Sleeping beauty syndrome

I got a comment about Sleeping beauty syndrome, that I might have that disorder as well. The sleeping beauty syndrome I haven´t researched myself much yet, but apparantly there could be some connection when you are sleeping around the clock, although for me the migraines and muscle pains have always been the main issue or what is most difficult to live with. If you look at the illness it seems some symptoms are the same as for Chronic fatigue syndrome , although there are important differences. The correct term for Sleeping beauty syndrome is Kleine-Levin syndrome.
“Kleine-Levin Syndrome episodes are cyclical. When present, KLS symptoms persist for days, weeks or even months, during which time all normal daily activities stop. Individuals are not able to attend school, work or care for themselves. Most are bedridden, tired and uncommunicative even when awake.”
When you have Chronic fatigue syndrome the episodes are not cyclical in the same manner. The Kleine-Levin affected person lives a normal life between the episodes of attacks and a person with Chronic fatigue syndrome never gets those normal episodes. Also the list of symptoms for a person affected with Chronic fatigue syndrome is a lot longer with up to 50 different symptoms, but not all at once for the most part.
I found after only 5 minutes of “research” two boys who contracted Kleine-Levin syndrome after a viral infection, which shows also in that illness an infection could be the main culprit that sets of disease.
Seeing an Infectious Disease Doc

I was having more and more and more strange things happening to my body, my pets and my home environment that I just couldn’t explain. After months of research I thought I had a pretty good idea what was going on… and I needed the help of an Infectious Disease Specialist for testing and possible treatment. Sounds simple, right? Not!
My Night and Day

Well, today I had another flare-up. It actually started during the night. I felt very restless and agitated in bed. I knew I was in for a long night. When you have suffered with symptoms like mine, you know the signs only too well. And it always starts just like the last one.

Some time ago I made a post about PARASITE SYMPTOMS AND HOW MANY I TICKED OFF THE SYMPTOMS LIST. I also gave a small description of what I was suffering with regards to each symptom and what I could relate to.
Tapeworm (s)!

Did I think the first large worms I killed with the megadose of the liquid dewormer was tapeworm like the instructions had said? I don’t think so. As I said, what you eliminate, after it has been in your body- most of the time will not look like the pictures you’ll find on the internet of what parasites look like. They can be stained, they can be partially digested etc. What I killed, and would later kill more of, I believe to be what is known as “zoonatic"–from animals–and old. I believe these to be large roundworms-ascaris. If they are a type of tapeworm, I have not been able to find information about non-segmented, large tapeworms–and I never did find the scolex (head) when I killed these worms.
However…I did for sure kill two tapeworms!! You may hear that “only one tapeworm at a time can live in you"–for sure I got two..and found the scolex’s (the head)!
My Body Ravaged

It’s been a tough time of late. I feel my body is being ravaged . Sometimes I feel I’m rotting from the inside out. How much more can it take? It’s relentless at times. I’ve had more bad days than good of late. The days of respite are taken up with the dread of the next episode.
A Bit Of Respite..... Not For Long.

After the bad chest infection I had I thought I’d get a bit of respite from the symptoms. Unfortunately not. The respite lasted just a few days. When I had the bad chest infection, hacking cough etc., my other symptoms did not appear to be bothering me too much. The chest infection was enough to deal with. But now, the other symptoms are back …… and with a vengeance.
My Recent Chest Infection

Since Wednesday 25th June I’ve been dealing with a pretty bad chest infection
probably due to the many infections/infestations and other co-factors I’m dealing with. I’m sure it’s all tied in.

To continue with what took place last fall to land me where I am now…
After my fabulous experience with being called Delusional, I was irritated enough and freaked out enough - that I decided to try and figure out on my own what was going on. I turned to - of course - the almighty Internet!
