Will Bartonella Bacteria Be The New Plague?
By DD Rose on Apr 3, 2009 | In Bacteria, Microbial Research | 1 feedback »
Pathogenic bacteria is area that I’m learning about because it is also a major problem when dealing with health issues. During my research into health I’ve focused a lot of my time understanding worm parasites; and, in the last couple of years I’ve learned a little about molds/fungi. Bacterial infections are the least of the 3 co-factors that I know about. There is so much to learn that it is overwhelming, but it is necessary when doctors don’t always have answer and you have to become a detective.
It seems as though scientific studies are indicating that Bartonella might be a major problem with 20 strains discovered, thus far. Not only is Bartonella found in mice and rats, but it is also in dogs, cats, cattle, and a host of wild animals. Below are several reports on this:
Colonic Irrigation Part 2
By Paige on Apr 3, 2009 | In My Story | 1 feedback »
My first appointment was with Margaret, a lovely middle aged woman looking many years younger than her actual age. The whites of her eyes were so white and she looked so “clean” that I decided straight away this colonics thing must be doing her good. I also pryed out of her very early on that she would have several colonic sessions a month on an ongoing and regular basis.
Intestinal Fungal Infections

Candida and Aspergillus are common fungi that are pathogenic. Below is a pathological study that was conducted on fungal infections of the intestinal tract between 1981-1991.

Parasite Hype or Not?
Restorative Health Research Plus™
Several years ago I had a conversation with a nurse friend of mine who was complaining about having gastrointestinal disturbances along with Candida and other problems. It was an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up. I gently mentioned that parasites could be her problem. I asked if she bothered to check into the possibility of parasites. My friend gave me a sneer claiming, “The parasite thing is nothing but hype. I don’t believe the problem are parasites - it’s all hype!” Little did she know how wrong she could be. . . she owned a cat (months later I found out that her cat had been sick). I figured that this could possibly be one source for her problems and other possibilities had to be looked into. All animals carry parasites, but house cats and pet birds are notorious for carrying a lot of parasites. My friend didn’t want to believe in the possibility that she could be infected by parasites. I proceeded to tell my story of what I discovered. She listened with interests. Since that time I learned more than I ever wanted to know about parasite infections.
Pets & Human Parasite Correlation

Realities Beyond Mites, Ticks, Fleas and Lice
I love animals of all kinds, but there are risks involved with owning pets. People love their pets so much that they naively ignore or disbelieve that their pet can pose health issues or vice versa. The rate of zoonatic/zoonotic (animal) infections appear to be increasing with crossing over to humans. Had I been aware of the possible risks of parasites earlier in life, I would have been a lot more careful with handling animals. Let’s face an obvious factor about animals that can’t be ignored. Animals lick their genitals and anus, often; they groom themselves and other animals; or roll around in dirt. Microscopic parasites and arthropods (insects/bugs) live on the fur of animals and within their feces. Among veterinarians and scientists, it no great secret that animals carry many parasites. Time for pet owners to have a serious wake-up call!
Colonic Irrigation Therapy Part 1
By Paige on Mar 29, 2009 | In My Story | 4 feedbacks »
I’ll start by saying that colonic irrigation therapy is not for everyone, but it certainly was for me.
I had built up several years of unevacuated faeces sitting in my colon - rotting in my colon and making me sick and bloated. From years of taking anti-depressants (Paxil) in large doses I had developed a very lazy bowel; only having a movement once in every few days. At the time though, I was so relieved that my anxiety and panic and lack of sleep were all alleviated that I didn’t care too much about not having regular and daily bowel movements. And so my problem grew…
Sadly after a few years though, I could no longer ignore the fact that I was developing a bloated distended stomache and I was starting to obsess about what could be going in there; as plenty was going in (eating) and little was coming out!
My journey to better health
By Paige on Mar 27, 2009 | In My Story | 1 feedback »
I realised last night that its going to take quite a long time to bring readers up to speed with all that I’ve done to respond to my ill health, and what I’ve experienced in my long and facinating healing journey.
It took several decades to very sick, and it took about 24 plus months to get to a point where I feel “well” again and not experiencing major symptoms. When I say major symptoms, my years of chronic insomnia (not being able to fall and stay asleep), anxiety, panic attacks, facial drooping (bells palsy symptoms), tingling and bloating at the affected side of my face, have all gone. Major infestations of parasties and fungi too have subsided.
The Mite Menace
By DD Rose on Mar 26, 2009 | In Parasites, Microbial Research | Send feedback »
As a follow-up to my story in dealing with skin parasites in Strange Occurrence of Skin Parasites, I have learned that mite (Acariasis) infestation is becoming a growing problem and that many people are suffering from them across the country. For the most part, wild birds and mice nesting somewhere are responsible for infesting people’s homes; in the news, there have been reported cases where people have been hospitalized or properties abandoned because of the growing menace.
The mystery of illness: getting to the bottom of my health problem
By Paige on Mar 25, 2009 | In My Story | 1 feedback »
I am a middle aged woman in good health these days. This was not always the case for me as I had many years of sickness with strange symptoms, and never knowing what was wrong with me. I’m sure there are countless people out there trying to get to the bottom of their health problem just like me.
Look What I Coughed Up!

Below is a picture of what I coughed up in the slimey mucus I have always experienced.
I’ve been taking Lugols Iodine and I’ve been noticing big improvements with regards to my symptoms. I started off slowly and I’ve been gradually increasing the dose. I still have symptoms, but they are getting better and I actually feel I have part of my life back.
Iodine is pretty amazing stuff. It has many health benefits.

Iodine has made such a difference in my life and in such a short period of time. (This was coughed up even after my visit with Infectious Disease Specialist and the negative results!).
