Just to make sure the Dr. SAW these green liver stones for himself…because the Dr’s at the University Hospital had "pooh-poohed" that I could have gotten stones out of my liver….I put them in a baggie, put them in a cooler and took them with me to show him…

Epstein Barr Virus- WAS I an "infectious person"?
By this time, thousands of dollars had been spent, out of pocket, no health insurance…and my liver was STILL hurting? In fact, getting worse all the time. In the viles, and viles of blood that had already been drawn, all the hepatitis’s, HIV, everything had been ruled out as being a "cause". I did not drink alcohol, did not take drugs, did not take over the counter med’s even, no tylenol etc, etc.
Back to square one?!

A full year had gone by since the gallbladder surgery. I hadn’t returned to a Dr. except to make sure the stitches had healed ok, and thinking the gallbladder was the cause of all my problems, I thought I was now "cured" and would feel good again….

And now for a little science lesson….
Did you know that parasites can get parasites? Did you know that when you get a parasite, it could have brought it’s own guest along, too?Where did this weight come from all of a sudden??

For two summers before I remarried, I had been working as a weed sprayer for a county weed district..my husband went with me several times in the spray truck, out in remote areas where there was no water for clean-up; I wore no protective gear; I wasn’t very careful. That was 8 years ago.
Scio Sessions Continued....

I began to read a bit more about scio and how exactly it worked. After reading some articles and websites I began to get to grips with it. I understood the basics but that was about it. I wasn’t ready to give up on it because I knew it had given some pretty alarming information which seemed to show that something wasn’t right with regards to my health.
My First SCIO Session...... and Subsequent Others
By Jane on May 1, 2008 | In Parasites, My Story | 1 feedback »
It was just over a year ago when I first had an SCIO session. The first appointment was for 1 and a 1/2 hours. I’d read many sites regarding SCIO and most practitioners like to see a patient for 1 and a 1/2 hours on the first visit in order to get a good background to the patient’s health. My first scio was for 1 and a 1/2 hours. A good part of this was taken up answering questions with regards to my health, my symptoms, how long I’d been experiencing them etc. I also had to fill in some kind of form answering similar types of questions. To make things easier for myself, I’d made out a hand-written note listing my symptoms etc., I have many symptoms and it can be difficult remembering when you’re nervous and meeting someone for the first time. I found this helped me and it also made sure that I had remembered everything.
Introduction of Mona and the discovery of "trouble makers"
By Blue Apple on May 1, 2008 | In Parasites | 1 feedback »
Hello there friends!
My name is Mona and I live in Sweden in a small town outside of Stockholm. I am 23 years old.
I am very lucky to have found RHR plus and such wonderful friends. It it is a blessing.
It is no secret that we all here share a story, a painful story. Many of us have been to several doctors who can’t find what is wrong with us and if we argue further they think we are ko-ko
.
I have a story to tell. It is not pretty and can be rather graphic. I can only describe the truth and I do so in detail. It can be harsh but my intention is not to scare you away, but to show the truth.
Ranch Life

My father has been a cowboy all of his life. Horses have always been his passion. Rain, heat, snow, wind- it hasn’t mattered, he’s been outside with his horses every day that he possibly could through his 76 years. His father, my Grandpa, was a cowboy. Although they never owned their own ranch, they worked for other ranchers, and I was my dad’s side-kick, doing whatever needed to be done with the cattle. Branding the calves was always a fun time for us kids, and we would be right in the middle of it.
Testing, testing, testing...

When I went to the Internal Medicine Dr. for the rash, the concern was for “the butterfly rash of Lupus", and he ordered blood tests. Upon receiving the blood tests, I was notified to come back in to his office for him to go over the tests with me. He asked me if I drank alcohol, or took drugs- even tylenol? No. What the tests showed was that my liver enzymes were elevated, and I was showing liver damage was going on. That was a big surprise to me. Liver?!
I don’t know how many blood tests I did every few weeks, checking liver function–continually showing elevated liver enzymes. An ultrasound showed nothing.
Another ultrasound, and Cat- scan through the GI Dr. I went to next-showed nothing..but by then I was feeling my liver, it was hurting. I was told I had a fatty liver…"go home and lose 20# and come back in 4 months if you aren’t feeling better"…
Knowing it wasn’t a fatty liver, another GI Dr that had saved my father’s life when he had pancreatitis (stone stuck in the common bile duct) did more extensive testing, and found in a Hida Scan that my gallbladder was only functioning at 5% capacity–did an endoscopy and found through a biopsy that I also had Celiac.
Because we were in a city 6 hours from home- the gallbladder surgery was scheduled, and performed the next morning.
Thinking that was the CURE for it all…I didn’t go back to any Dr’s for a year after that–until, with the tiredness still, and still not feeling well, I went to the local Health Fair for annual blood tests–thyroid was fine–but LIVER ENZYMES were elevated!
That was a year ago. Little did I know the journey that would begin, and what I would learn.
